The Transfer Student Orientation program is designed to facilitate a smooth transition to campus life and prepare you for an exciting first semester. For Summer 2024, we are offering two in-person orientations on Saturday, July 13, 2024, and Friday, July 26, 2024.
Orientation provides a valuable opportunity to hear from staff and administrators, connect with current students and fellow incoming transfers, and discover what it takes to thrive as a student at UC Merced.
At orientation, you can:
- Learn Tips for Academic Success: Receive advice to help you excel academically at UC Merced.
- Discover Campus Resources: Get information about the range of resources available to support your college journey.
- Hear from Current Students: Gain insights into campus life directly from those who experience it.
- Make New Friends: Connect with other students and start building your network.
- Get Your Individual Questions Answered: Have the chance to ask any specific questions you may have.
