Congratulations on your decision to attend the University of California, Merced!  Joining the UC Merced community will provide you with fulfilling, exciting, and fun academic and personal experiences.  In order to make a smooth transition, your next step is to attend New Student Orientation.
 
At Orientation you will have the opportunity to receive assistance in selecting your spring classes, tour the campus, and get to know other new students.  Orientation is also a time to address any questions you have for University staff, faculty, and administration.  Attending Orientation is essential to a successful beginning at UC Merced.  Use the links in the menu on the left side of this page to find out more about Orientation.  We look forward to meeting you this spring!
 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Spring Orientation registration begins in November.  Please check our website for updates!
  • Summer Orientation Billing:  Some late fees for registration or registration changes after our July 1st deadline ($5 per student or guest) were not billed with your orientation fees in August do to an error.  These charges were recently added to your student bill.  We apologize for any inconvenience in correcting this billing error.
