Why should your business, club, or department/organization be involved?
- Parent & Family Weekend is designed to give our students and their families a glimpse into the academic, social, and cultural aspects of UC Merced and Merced community
- A great way to promote your business, organization, and resources to our students and their families
- Welcome, connect and converse with students, parents, and guests, individually
- Share and spread Merced community spirit by showing students our ways to get involved and find resources close by
Expectations for Participation:
- An organization/department/business representative is required during the entire Resource Fair Event. In doing so, we seek to be examples of involvement and commitment to University life at UC Merced
- Your business/organization/department should arrive no sooner than 1:30 PM for check in and set up
- Your business/club/dept/org will represent the University’s rules, policies and values
- Follow all instructions and directives of Parent and Family Weekend Staff
Acknowledge:
- I acknowledge to inform the Parent and Family Weekend Team if our business/club/organization is unable to attend at least TWO days in advance
- I acknowledge if I arrive sooner than 1:30 PM and set up a table I am not assigned to, I may be asked to move my belongings to my assigned table
