Why should your club or department be involved?
- A great way to promote your organization and resources to new students and their families
- Have the very first opportunity to recruit student leaders for your organization or program
- Welcome, connect and converse with new students, parents, and guests, individually
- Share and spread Bobcat spirit by showing students ways to get involved
Expectations for Participation:
- An organization/department representative is required during the entire orientation Information Fair session. In doing so, we seek to be examples of involvement and commitment to University life at UC Merced
- Your organization/department should arrive no sooner that 1:30 PM for check in and set up
- Your student organization will represent the University’s rules, policies and values
- Follow all instructions and directives of Orientation Staff
Acknowledge:
- I acknowledge to inform the Orientation Team if our club/organization is unable to attend the orientation session at least TWO days in advance
- I acknowledge if I arrive sooner than 1:30 PM and set up a table I am not assigned to, I may be asked to move my belognings to my assigned table
