Registration Fees

UC Merced's orientation fees are $90 per student and $80 per parent/guest and are posted to your UC Merced student account early August.  Fees must be paid in full by the fall 2013 payment deadline, (Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 4 p.m.).

How to Register

Students may begin registering for Orientation beginning April 13th.  First, you must submit your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR). After 24 hours, you will be given access to the registration form for orientation. You will need your UCMNetID (i.e. hsmith), password and student ID number handy for completing the registration form.

  1. Click on "quick register online" under the registration menu.
  2. Complete the form.
  3. Check to ensure all information is accurate before submitting.
  4. Click "Submit."

A confirmation email with a free printable parking pass for your orientation day will be sent to your UC Merced email address.

Transcripts and Other Official Documents

The official documents which we must receive by July 15, 2013, include transcripts (high school and/or college), test scores, AP score reports, etc. You can find out what documents have not yet been received at MyAdmissions or by calling the Admissions Office at 209-228-4682.  You will need to bring copies of this information on your orientation date.
